In order to use the templates you are expected to have TeX and friends
installed on your local machine. The recommended installation of TeX for
Unix is TeXLive 2010 or later. You are also advised to avoid pdflatex
and use latex->dvips->ps2pdf for file processing as some of the files
might contain figures which are usually created by PSTricks.  We
strongly encourage use of Makefile provided on the teaching resources
page to process TeX source files.
